Towergate Insurance was looking for clarity on its existing reward framework and wanted to carry out an audit to understand its challenges and opportunities for improvement. It also wanted to review its performance management process, as well as its approach to career and pay progression.
We met with the Head of HR Transformation and Head of HR Business Partnering, as well as the wider team, to gather information on people capabilities, reward management and performance management.
We also reviewed other HR metrics, such as employee turnover, pay increases and the employee opinion survey to provide a current state audit. We identified the biggest reward challenges and produced a plan and recommendations for tackling them.
Towergate was given a project plan and timeline detailing the steps required to implement a new framework to manage pay and reward more effectively. The project plan provided the HR and Reward team with clarity over what needed to be done and how to begin the process internally, with our support.
