SSP owns and operates numerous recognisable consumer franchises, including major names such as Burger King, Starbucks, Spar and other well-known brands across airports, railway stations and motorway service areas throughout Europe and beyond.

 

Challenge

Given their size and presence across Europe, SSP approached 3R Strategy to assess their readiness for the EU Pay Transparency Directive. They needed to understand the gap between their current practices and what would be required to achieve compliance by the June 2026 deadline.

Solution

We worked closely with SSP's group reward team to conduct an EU Pay Transparency Readiness Assessment. Our approach included: 

  • Comprehensive review of existing pay, reward and recruitment policies and processes 
  • Detailed gap analysis assessing their position against EU requirements 
  • Recommendations and roadmap for achieving full compliance 

Outcome

SSP now has a clear understanding of their position against EU Pay Transparency Directive requirements and a practical roadmap to achieve compliance. Our recommendations enable their reward team to prioritise actions effectively and implement changes across their multi-national operation.
