Challenge
ATPI are a global organisation with employees across many different countries. Gender Pay Gap reporting is a legal requirement for their UK operations as they have over 250 employees. To ensure consistency, their team also wanted to use the same UK guidelines for reporting in every other country.
Solution
Our reward team worked with ATPI to discuss data for each individual country. This included asking questions about currency converting and finding out if ATPI had an internal levelling structure. This gave us the ability to assess how the pay gap was distributed across the organisation.
We were able to work to a tight deadline, allowing the ATPI team to include all gender pay gap data in relevant reporting.
Outcome
ATPI was presented with the key findings, a summary of our methodology and context surrounding the process.
We also provided a spreadsheet report containing their mandatory reporting numbers as well as data such as:
- Their highest average pay gap
- Which location had the highest pay gap favouring males
- Which location had the highest pay gap favouring females
As a result of completing a gender pay gap report across all operational countries, ATPI can now take any action needed to rectify potential risks. It also allows them to prepare for the new EU Directive regulations regarding gender pay gap reporting as many of their operations fall inside of EU member states.
