Research/Briefing Papers

Support discussions about changes to your annual pay cycle

Why?

Remuneration Committees often need support and guidance with changes to current arrangements and decisions related to the annual pay cycle.

This often involves the preparation of papers about specific topics on the Committee’s agenda (e.g. implications of the EU Pay Transparency Directive) or research on market trends.

EU directive

Through our client work and thought leadership research we keep on top of pay trends in the across different sectors.

We also have access to different data sources, and the expertise to collate this information into concise, insightful papers that enable Remuneration Committee members to make evidence-based decisions.

How it Works

Unless there is an agreement in place to provide ongoing support to the Remuneration Committee, these papers are typically commissioned on an ad-hoc basis.

We will conduct a briefing conversation with to get a clear understanding of your requirements, including:

  • Desired output(s)
  • Intended use of the information
  • Relevant elements of context

We will then present our proposed approach to ensure that it is aligned with the expectations of the Remuneration Committee.

Once we agree on the scope of the exercise, we will go ahead and conduct the relevant research and prepare a first draft of the paper for review. Following this, we will make amendments as needed and deliver a final version.

Our team will be available to present key findings to the Remuneration Committee if required.

“It was a no brainer that we would work with 3R Strategy to support the roll out of a clear reward strategy. From our initial consultation call it was clear we wouldn’t need to squeeze into a set structure but the complexities of our business would be very much taken into account, to create something bespoke for the IOE&IT.”
